Privacy Policy

Zeroly ("we", "our", "us") is a debt payoff planner. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is kept, and how you can delete it.

Short version: Your debts stay on your phone. Zeroly has no ads, no analytics and no tracking. An account is optional and is used for one thing only: keeping a backup copy of your data that you make yourself. You can delete the account and its backup at any time, from inside the app.

1. Data stored on your device

Everything you enter — your debts, payments, balance matches, monthly budget, chosen payoff method, currency and settings — is stored locally on your device. It is not sent anywhere unless you choose to back it up (see section 2).

Zeroly does not connect to your bank and never sees your bank details. Payment reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to us.

If you turn on the app lock, your passcode is stored only as a salted hash in your device's secure storage. Fingerprint or face unlock is handled entirely by your device's operating system; Zeroly never receives or stores biometric data.

2. Optional account and cloud backup

You can use every feature of Zeroly without an account. If you choose to create one, we collect:

The backup is sent over an encrypted connection and encrypted at rest by Google. It is not end-to-end encrypted. Access rules ensure that only your signed-in account can read or delete your backup. Google's servers may be located outside your country.

We use this data only to let you restore your data, for example on a new phone. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or analytics, and we do not sell or share it with anyone.

3. Exporting your data

"Export data" creates a file on your device, which you can share using your phone's share sheet. Where that file goes is your choice; Zeroly does not upload it.

4. What Zeroly does not do

5. Data retention and deletion

On your device: use Settings → "Erase everything", or uninstall the app.

Your account and backup: use Settings → "Delete account". This deletes your cloud backup first and then your account, immediately and permanently. The debts on your phone are not touched. Signing out alone does not delete anything.

If you no longer have the app, you can request deletion here: Delete your Zeroly account.

6. Children's privacy

Zeroly is meant for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Third-party services

Only if you create an account, Zeroly uses:
